Usually wears: Siola doesn’t dress to impress, as it wouldn’t be practical by any means. She often wears battered down converses which she had from before the apocalypse, but, in times of battle or raids, she wears military boots which were her father’s at one point. As many of the other evolved, all her clothes are hand me down’s, and she most often in boys clothes as they seem to fit her slim frame. The only thing she wears is her gold locket which she wears on a chain around her neck. In this locket she has a picture of her mother and father, and on the front is the mark of the evolved. Engraved into it.
Overall description: Siola is a slim but reasonably tall girl, she has grey eyes and long red hair which she mostly wears up in a ponytail to keep it out of her eyes. She has a scar running along her neck from a vampire attack long ago although this one adds up to many which scatter her frame.

Wouldn't it be nice if we could hide our lies?

Habits: When she’s nervous or scared, she has the habit of gripping the locket around her neck and biting her lip, as if she’s trying to draw energy from it.
Specialises in any sort of weapon/combat: Siola specialises in hand to hand combat, and also with throwing knives. She does carry a gun with her, but rarely uses it, as the shortage of ammo is a growing worry in her mind.
Fears: Her main fear is losing control of the Resistance and also loosing their trust, either from disappointing them or letting her guard down and letting the Vamp’s get in.

Personality:
Siola has the nature of a leader, she’s loyal to the people she has to look after, even when many think that her view is wrong and would happily try and take her position away from her. She doesn’t try to force her leadership onto the people in the resistance, and tries to let people get on as normal, as if it was a normal town, although, this could never be, thanks to the constant threat of invasion.

Siola can be talkative, but most of the time it’s just to keep things working smoothly, trying to avoid awkward pauses. Sometimes, this causes her to lie, as she doesn’t always want to tell her whole past back to front in plain black and white. On the other hand, at other times, she can be moody and stubborn, enclosed in her own thoughts. Her mood swings can confuse people, that is why she mostly prefers to stay on her own in the art blocks or outside, with no one to bother her.

She isn’t afraid to say what she thinks, and doesn’t care what other thinks of her. In her own view, she is who she wants to be, and nobody should be able to stand in her path, she’sthe sort of person who will fight till the end in an argument, whatever the consequences. Meaning, most of the time, she’s a bit of optimist and tries to see the better side of things . Siola hates it if something goes wrong, in other words, she’s a bit of a perfectionist. If she becomes your friend, she won’t let you down and leave you. She’ll keep your secrets and promises only if you’ll keep hers.

Other: Both of her parent’s were studying out in Africa of the time of the apocalypse, they were hit by the first lot of Vampires, creatures that have no control over their thirst for blood. Her Aunt and Uncle originally looked after Siola, and they became the original founders of the Resistance, soon after they died in a battle and the title was handed down to Siola a few weeks later. Siola has a pet sheepdog, named Alfie, which follows her around from time to time. He was originally the family sheepdog on the farm they lived on in Syna Forest, so Siola gained ownership soon after the deaths.

History:

· Siola had a normal childhood, she grew up on the family farm just outside London and was an only child. She went to a school in London for both primary and secondary education. In some ways, these times were the happiest in her life. She could always be seen with some dirt streaked across her face from helping out at the farm. When she was 13 her parents moved to another farm inside Syna forest. At this point little did Siola know that this location was one that was going to save her life.

At the age of 16, Siola managed to get a job in the city, at first it was just helping out at the many clothes shops. Although, when she managed to get good levels in her exams, she managed to get another job in a scientist’s lab as a helper. Through the many petri dishes she managed to hear many convosations between the scientists. This was when she first heard of the new virus that had been found, although no one knew it was the thing that would evolve into something so much more at the time. Not knowing it was any importance, Siola ignored the things she heard and just carried on.

Siola’s mother and father moved away to Africa for a year when she was 20, due to a new initiative in farming. Her Aunt and Uncle moved in to the farm, to keep it carrying on. Siola left her job at the scientists to help her relatives and the farm.

On Siola’s 22rd birthday. 2012 The outbreak began. In an amount of weeks, Siola’s life spiraled out of control. She lost so many friends and family it was unreal. Then, her life became even more mixed up when she began to find her powers. At first, her aunt and uncle were scared for her. Frightened. She began to hear of other like her, people with powers. Soon, these reports died away as soon as they had started. The signals blocked by the Vampires.

October 2013: Siola begins to realize something is wrong. She begins the task of forming the resistance, a mixture of humans and evolved. It wasn’t an easy task, many people were spread over the world, impossible to find through the mess which had become of the world. Eventually, the Resistance was formed.

It’s been 6 months since then, and that brings us to present day.
