Exactly one year ago, when New Directions and the Warblers competed at Regionals, they created a scene. A huge, amazing scene of musical explosion. Each group managed to bring the audience to their feet with incredible dance sequences (at least, on New Directions' part) and outstanding musical numbers. Once again, both groups tied. But once again, Vocal Adrenaline took the top spot. They claimed the victory, and went on to compete at Nationals.
Defeated, both groups returned home, only to have their spirits lifted by an unknown benefactor. Every member of New Directions and the Warblers recieved a personal invitation to attend the Cicilian Academy of the Arts, and put together the very first show choir from CAA. The only hitch? It's in New York City.
It goes without saying that each member accepted the generous invitation, and hopped on a plane to the bright lights as quickly as they could. But all is not perfect in the hustle and bustle of the city. New Directions and the Warblers will have to learn how to work together to operate successfully. Secrets will come out, truths will be told, and hearts will be broken. But the only thing you need to get through the ups and downs of this busy roller coaster is the right state of mind.
